Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
Looks like I'm going to comeback and beat Shooter. Here are the current scores going into Sunday Night Baseball, maybe you can help us with this next week UTVOLS2 since you have the stat tracker.
Wise Wolfpack: 5
Each Hit: 5
Double D's Team: 7
Hat Creek Braves: 2
Plaxico's Thight: 6
Esserville Muddogz: 4
Basement Buccos: 5
Maple Grove Yankees: 4
PVFAN Hearts King College: 6
Juniper Doodads: 3
Overall, very competitive first week. Looks like this league is going to be very competitive, everybody has a pretty solid team, Shooter was up on me 8-3 this morning, I just got lucky and had Johan Santana and Aaron Harang pitching, and they both pitched gems. There has been a ton of movement this week in terms of free agent pickups so I'm not even going to begin to list the transactions, only two players are yet to make a move, Maple Grove Yankees and Plaxico's Thigh.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
No problem, I will try to give an update every night just let me know how in detail you want me to go with it, I don't mind at all.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
Just whatever you want to give I guess if something is close. I'm in trouble next week, Santana will just pitch once, and he's by far the ace of my staff, although Harang has posted back to back good starts. Looks like I might be firing up that free agent list next week like a lot of you all did this week.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
I had two big comebacks yesterday in this and another yahoo league I am in. I was down 9-1 in it and as long as JJ Hardy muted anything Derreck Lee done tonight we were going to end up 5-5. Juniper was up on me 8-2 I believe going into yesterday.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
First place after week one, go ahead and pay me now.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
You win era and whip this week UTVOLS2, Randy Johnson goes out and blows up. In case you guys haven't seen it I changed the pitching requirements to a minimum of ten innings a week. This is in order to keep people from pitching one inning and getting two easy wins a week, if anybody has a problem with this just respond or e-mail me.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
That is a good idea, glad you thought of it. Don't worry one of my pitchers will blow it this week to match Mr. Johnson.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
Dude, my team freakin blew it Sunday. up 8-3 and i lose 7-2-2...unbelievable. Pitching kills me.
Re: Fantasy Baseball in Season Thread
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains. Luckily for me it rained today in Detroit. UTVOLS2 had three players scheduled to start in that game, with the numerous off days already built into the month of April a rainout can be a killer to fantasy baseball team during that week. Big game tonight between the Fish and Braves, I may tune of some of it in before the Reds come on. When it's all said and done the NL East might be the most competitive division in the NL, 4 pretty good teams and one doormat for everybody to beat up on.
